Air pollution of Kathmandu Valley is at its extreme and Clean Energy Nepal felt the dire necessity to raise the profile of its ongoing work on addressing the problem of air pollution.

Air pollution is highly pronounced in the air of Kathmandu Valley and Valley residents have suffered its consequences for a long time. Concerned voices continue to rise from all sectors.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, 2017: Connecting People to Nature Clean Energy Nepal organized an Eco – Fair on 4th June, 2017 at the CEN office premises, Satdobato, Lalitpur.

Clean Energy Nepal is implementing a project entitled “Building Resilience and Climate Adaptive Planning in Urban Centers of Nepal” in two municipalities of Mid-Western Nepal.

Project’s broader global objective: to develop tools and track and monitor adaptation finance flows from a multitude of sources down to the local level, Nepal’s country specific.

Strengthening the role of Non State Actors in climate change policy formulation in South Asia and enhancing their capacities to influence global climate change negotiations.
